Summary: The primary responsibility of the clinician is to provide clinical services and supports that are and individualized, youth-guided, trauma informed, aligned with the permanency goals of youth, and strength-based. These services include, but are not limited to individual, family, group counseling, case management, and case consultation and collaboration.
Supervision and Support: Clinicians report to directly the Clinical Director. Support and oversight of relevant operational functions of the role also fall under the purview of the Director of Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide individual, group, family therapy and case management services.
- Maintain data related to clinical services and submit to Clinical Director as requested.
- Participate in treatment, permanency and discharge planning with student, family and agency personnel involved with students.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and associated documentation including but not limited to psychosocial reports, ITP's, case notes, CAFAS reports and other required assessments, correspondence with relevant stake holders and monthly reports.
- Collaborate with consulting psychiatrist as it relates to medication management including the incidence of side effects.
- Maintain clinical license or status on state registry.
- Understand and adhere to the administrative structure, chain of command and program philosophy of VPI.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other job-related projects and activities as requested.
Qualifications/Requirements: - Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field license eligible field
- Valid driver's license and 21+ years of age
- Satisfactory completion of background and pre-employment checks
