A role in **Owned Brand Sourcing** means having a hand in developing products that have a positive impact on people and the planet. In Sourcing, youll apply your expertise to promote and apply responsible sourcing practices while driving the success and growth of Targets owned brands. The Sourcing team starts at the very earliest stages of product development, builds out the costing models and tracks where product stands at every step in the production cycle, from overseas shipping to our import warehouses, distribution centers and stores. And since Target is indeed a global company, youll be part of the team that manages global relationships in partnership with the cross-functional team.
As a **Close-to-Business****Sourcing Manager in Household Cleaning** , you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team including Target Merchants, Planners and Product Design and Development to turn ideas into the merchandise on our stores shelves and on our online channels. You will support the development of sourcing strategies with a focus on global balance, matrix optimization, Target Forward & Sustainability goals, and Targets financial plans. You will be responsible for partnering with worldwide sourcing peers, Quality Assurance, and Responsible Sourcing to deliver high-quality, trend-right merchandise at a great value to our guests. To do this, you will determine appropriate operating model and drive sourcing strategies that align to business goals and critical category needs. You will lead building value-driven negotiation strategies to achieve financial goals.
**Additional Responsibilities include:**
* Leverage understanding of cross functional team goals, risks, and priorities to support development of a sourcing approach that achieves profit, impact and product goals?
* Represent expertise of global sourcing partners within the Owned Brand Cross Functional Team.
