The Closer is responsible for completing closing documents in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position will report directly to the Closing Manager.YOU COULD BE PAID:* Salary Base - $50,000-$65,000 per year* Monthly Variable BonusesResponsibilities and Duties* Ability to complete on average a combination of ICD's, revised CD's, and closing packages totaling 6 tasks a day* Capacity to handle 60 fundings a month while maintaining satisfactory departmental KPI's* Complete all UCD submissions and MERS registrations within 24 hours of funding* Demonstrate behavior that is consistent with Silverton's values and philosophies* Effectively communicate with all parties in alignment with Silverton's published communication expectations* Maintain all required closing documents in Sterling's edoc manager* Must manage all closing date changes* Obtain satisfactory documentation pertaining to any at closing, funding, or shipping conditions* Maintain a quality rating of 10% errors or less* Perform other duties as assigned* Prepare and review all ICD's and closing packages ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all state and regulatory requirements* Responsible for attending required training, departmental meetings, and one on ones with leadership* Responsible for funding confirmation on all loans* Must transmit accurate wire information to VMF Treasury* Review LE's and COC's and ensure fully executed and in line with current lock confirmation* Responsible for final collaboration on closing documents with attorney* Must complete trust reviews on own loans for accuracyEducation, Knowledge, Experience* Minimum 3 years of closing experience* Strong knowledge surrounding state and federal regulatory requirements* Detail oriented and organizedSkills* Excellent time management: ability to work in fast-paced environment* Exhibits strong problem-solving skills* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills* Proven written and verbal communication skillsTechnology Proficiencies* Mortgage Loan Origination Systems (LOS)* Internet Explorer* Microsoft Office suite, including Excel* Adobe PDF* IDS or similar doc generating systemsSilverton Mortgage is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
