Scope: The Cloud Administrator is responsible for maintaining the organization's cloud infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems, as well as collaborating with other IT staff to support the organization's cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud platforms and a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization. Responsibilities:Cloud Infrastructure Administration
- Monitor the security, performance, and availability of cloud services. Maintain cloud environments (AWS, MS365, Azure, etc).
Automation and Optimization
- Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell) and tools for automation of cloud operations.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of cloud services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventative measures.
Collaboration and Support
- Provide technical guidance and support to other IT staff and end-users. Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for support of cloud services.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud environments, configurations, and procedures. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices and share knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 7 years experience
- Associate or Technical degree
- Four year college degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, MS365, Azure, etc.)
- Proficiency in cloud security best practices and tools
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud networking configurations
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
