In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.What you will be doingWe are seeking a data engineer with experience with clinical data and de-identification processes.As a member of the Data Analytics and ODIL teams, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of the largest curated musculoskeletal data ecosystem in the world and collaborate with leading experts in medicine, data science, and technology. Together, we will unlock the potential of our vast data resources to improve healthcare access, monitor musculoskeletal health, study movement, and prevent disease on a global scale.   • Define, implement and manage Clinical Data Transformation processes focusing on Data de-identification
  • Define and manage the de-identification process of clinical data
  • Assist Clinical Data Engineer with HIPAA Clinical Data Transformation into OMOP Common Model
  • Assist Solution Architect with Data Optimization for Product Development
  • Assist ODIL partner institutions with their Clinical Data de-identification
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with clinical and EHR data
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with clinical data de-identification processes, including data quality and validation
  • Experience and deep understanding of DICOM standard a big plus
  • Experience with OMOP Common Data Model a big plus
  • Experience with Epic EHR and its database and data warehouse Clarity and Caboodle a big plus
  • Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations, understanding of CCPA and GDPR a big plus
  • Experience with AWS Data Analytics Service including but not limited to S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda and Step Functions a big plus
  • Experience with Data Transformation tools like Spark or similar technologies a big plus
  • Proficient in Python or similar language
  • Proficient in SQL
