Cloud Data Warehouse Engineering, Senior Manager

You will assist clients in choosing a platform, defining their data needs and migrating them to a modern cloud data environment using cloud providers such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, Databricks or Teradata.

****Demonstrates abilities and/or success in the following areas:****
* **Understanding and experience with modern cloud data warehouse and engineering for one or more of the following cloud providers Azure (Synapse, Dynamo, Cosmos, Azure ML, Power BI), AWS (Redshift, Sagemaker), GCP (BigQuery, Vertex, Cognitive Services), Snowflake, Tableau;**
* **Designing and developing modern data warehouse solutions using data modeling techniques such as file based, normalized or denormalized, star schemas, schema on read, Vault data model, and graphs for mixed workloads, such as OLTP, OLAP, streaming using any formats (structured, semi-structured, unstructured);**
* **Developing file and object-based storage solutions, such as Azure ADLS 2.0 or AWS S3, creating analytics and insights solutions using Redshift, Azure SQL Pools, Snowflake, PySpark dataframes and/or equivalent technologies;**
* **Designing and developing advanced analytics solutions, AI/ML models, and operationalizing based on ML Ops process;**
* **Architecting and designing data implementation patterns and engineered solutions using native cloud capabilities that span data ingestion & integration (ingress and egress), data storage (raw & cleansed), data prep & processing, master & reference data management, data virtualization & semantic layer, data consumption & visualization;**
* **Understanding of cloud data solutions in the context of business applications, cost optimization, clients strategic needs and future growth goals as it relates to becoming a data driven organization;**
* **Leading practices in supporting high availability, scalable, process and storage intensive solutions architectures to data integration/migration, analytics and insights, AI and ML requirements;**
* **Leading and creating detailed functional and technical specification documentation related to cloud data warehouse solution;**
* **Understanding of one or more is a big plus -CI/CD, cloud devops, containers (kubernetes/Docker, etc.), Python/PySpark/JavaScript;**
* **Understanding of enterprise data concepts such as Master Data Management and Enterprise Data Warehouse, experience with MDM standards;**
* **Applying knowledge in SQL, report generation using visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI, programming using Python/Spark;**
* **Possessing a certification in one of the following is a big plus AWS/Azure/GCP data engineering;**
* **Leading and supporting data warehouse team and leads in creation of cloud data warehouse plans, roadmap, success metrics, and assessment of clients enterprise (on-premise and on-cloud) data systems;**
****Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:****
* **Demonstrating prior Big 4 or strong consulting experience in strategy through execution projects is a plus;**
* **Working with large Cloud Data Platform, Cloud Data migration or Enterprise Information Management programs;**
* **Working closely with business stakeholders to capture and document business objectives/requirements, ability to translate business and technology objectives to next generation cloud, digital and technology solution architectures;**
* **Acting as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and implementation leaders;**
* **Collaborating with technology teams and architects to define and develop technology solutions;**
* **Willing desire to learn and apply modern, cloud-based technology skills, ability to research emerging trends, analyst publications, and adoption of modern technologies in solution architectures;**
* **Applying a collaborative and teaming approach;**
* **Demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving methods and skills;**
* **Using appropriate facilitation techniques to gain agreement or move others to action;**
* **Supporting the development of digital accelerators and repeatable solutions;**
* **Supporting business development efforts by participating in proposal development, sales pursuits, and client presentations.**
