Job Description:
DescriptionWe are offering an exciting role for a Cloud Engineer in New York, New York, 10017, United States. This role combines the responsibilities of a Systems Administrator and a Cloud Architect, with a primary focus on the design, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure, heavily emphasizing cloud services and architecture.Responsibilities: Lead strategic capacity planning, network and system design, cloud services, datacenter integration, and project management. Design, deploy, and support SaaS and IaaS solutions on public and private cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. Manage system integration and migration projects, with a particular focus on Active Directory and M365 systems. Build, manage, and support system services including Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Calling, MDM, VMWare, Azure-hosted resources, and other industry-standard tools. Implement and maintain endpoint device, software, and user configurations via Group Policy and third-party tools. Design and execute the integration of cloud infrastructure, virtual footprint, and user identities into the acquiring company's tenant. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the integration of cloud identities and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and ensure that the integrated cloud systems meet the organization's overall IT architecture and standards. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed. Develop and execute the company's Cloud strategy and lead migration efforts. Allocate resources efficiently and ensure sustained operations. Skills: Amazon EC2 Ansible Atlassian Jira Cloud Technologies EO/IR systems AB Testing Automation AWS Technologies Configuration Management Continuous Integration (CI)Requirements Proficient in Amazon EC2, Ansible, and Atlassian Jira Extensive knowledge in various cloud technologies Experience with EO/IR systems and AB Testing Skilled in automation and AWS technologies Proficiency in configuration management Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) is a must Must possess exceptional problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team and coordinate with different departments Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proven track record in managing and deploying enterprise solutions in AWS Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues Experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions Knowledge of cloud security and compliance requirements Must be able to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly.Job typePerm
