Overview:
Treyburn Country Club is seeking a Clubhouse Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining clean, functional areas and equipment throughout the Club for use by members, their guests and fellow employees. The position requires the individual to have a working knowledge of effective routine and preventive maintenance techniques. Must be able to read and carefully follow directions in the use of various chemicals, tools and equipment used in the maintenance program. Will have the ability to perceive on a priority basis when and where work should be done based on the weekly Club Events schedule and those routine and preventive maintenance schedules established by the Director of Maintenance. The person will be required to show proficiency in the use of ladders and hand and power tools. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs routine custodial and maintenance responsibilities.
- Utilizes tools, materials for simple repairs and assists with more technical repairs
- Performs touch-up and whole area painting.
- Repairs lighting fixtures including changing light bulbs.
- Repairs/replaces doors/hardware.
- Reports property damage, equipment malfunctions and usual activities as appropriate.
- Actively supports an inclusive and respectful work environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Electrical certification preferred.
