Currently hiring for a CMM Inspector for a military and defense contractor located on the eastern part of Long Island. Candidates with minimum 3 years of experience utilizing CMM machines are encouraged to apply! • Experience with editing CMM programs- programming a plus
• Perform receiving inspection.
• Perform appropriate transactions in internal systems.
• Perform in process inspections as required.
• Perform Final QA Audit of Product as needed.
• Knowledge of the use hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gages.
• Maintain Receiving inspection files.
• Pull prints from files or electronic database.
• Interpret prints for measuring parts.
• Interface with Purchasing, Engineering and Shipping/Receiving departments.
• Most be flexible in schedule and available for Saturdays and OT as needed.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
• Interface with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Shipping/Receiving departments.
