Job Summary
The Inspector (CMM) at Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb is responsible for performing in process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and or sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. The Inspector (CMM) must be able to perform First Article Inspections according to Triumph Geared Solutions quality department work instruction.
Standard Night Shift hours are 5:00pm-3:30am, but may be adjusted based on business need
Responsibilities
* Perform in process and final inspection on machined parts, and or sub-assemblies.
* Complete inspections to engineering requirements.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
* Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
* Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft products and excel.
* Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
* Minimum Experience 2 Years CMM Inspection
Physical Requirements
* Good hand-eye coordination
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
* Able to stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to use hand tools
