(Fulltime)Reports toSite Supervisor/Site LeadsCMM Operator Responsibilities(To include but not limited to the following)Client Relationship & Business DevelopmentThe Fixed-type CMM Operator participates in the site inspection function by measuring customer parts with a coordinate measuring machine. The Fixed-type CMM Operator uses proper set up and inspection techniques, and operates the equipment accurately and efficiently.Operations Administer previously created inspection-path programsSet up fixture or holding device to properly support the part being inspectedInsure part inspection programs are consistent with part number and revision levelVerify the inspection equipment is suitable, calibrated and operational as requiredOperate fixed-type coordinate measuring machineDetermine part conformance to customer's engineering drawing by measurement inspectionEdit part-inspection programs under programmer supervisionDocument and report non-conforming material as requiredOther duties and/or responsibilities as assigned Technical Expert-level proficiency operating fixed-type coordinate measuring machinesExpert-level proficiency measuring parts using previously prepared inspection programs, written with PC-DMIS operating systems or equivalentExpert-level proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings (blueprints)Intermediate-level proficiency interpreting geometric dimensioning & tolerancing standardsIntermediate-level proficiency navigating MS Windows and computer networksIntermediate-level proficiency in applied mathematics -- algebra, geometry and trigDemonstrated comfort level interfacing with staff and management, while working in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated organizational and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated job diligence and attention to detail Knowledge, skills, abilities Proficiency in EnglishExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to coordinate, prioritize and multitaskDemonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced, challenging environmentAbility to take initiative and recognize needsAbility to handle highly sensitive and confidential materialAbility to lift/move 30 poundsMust have reliable transportation Work Experience Previous work experience in quality-inspection is preferred Education Background High school diploma or equivalentAssociate or Bachelor degree in a related technical field is preferred About TRIGO Global Quality Solutions Founded in 199710,000 professionals in 20+ countries worldwideServes the automotive, aerospace and heavy transportation industriesOffers quality control & supply chain services including inspection, logistics, auditing, consulting & trainingThe leading quality solutions provider, trusted by the world's top 10 automotive & aerospace companies TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is committed to equal employment opportunity.
