Piqua is a community of 22,000, which offers a friendly,small-town atmosphere yet is still an easy drive to Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati.Key ResponsibilitiesHartzell Propeller Inc. seeks a CMM Programmer for current products and new product development utilizing Pc-DMIS software to ensure parts meet quality specifications.Key Deliverables of the Position1) Create CMM programs that meet print requirements2) Maintain schedule for CMM programs to correspond with production requirements3) Verify CMM programs are accurate and repeatableExamples of Daily Activities1) Program off-line with CAD models2) On-line programming with and without CAD models3) Maintain and update existing CMM programs4) Troubleshoot inspection problems on production floor5) Partner with the CNC programmers to create manufacturing processes6) Support training of the CMM operator7) Coordinate service, support and new equipment from CMM vendorsManual verification of CMM programsRequirementsRequired Education and ExperienceQualified candidate should have five (5) years of experience in inspection/quality and 1-3 years of CMM programming experience, preferably PC-DMIS.Required Technical Competencies1) CMM programming experience utilizing PC-DMIS2) Excellent blueprint reading skills3) Understanding of GD&T4) Proficient computer skills (MS-Office)5) Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired Technical Competencies1) Experience with Solid Works software2) Experience with mechanical inspection3) Experience with inspection planning4) Strong math skills (geometry, trigonometry, algebra)5) Experience with point clouds and Inspections Arms*Required Behavioral Competencies *1) Continuous Learning - Demonstrated ability to learn continuously and apply newly gained knowledge and skill on the job2) Contributes to Team Success -- Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.3) Decision Making -- Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities; compares data from different sources to draw conclusions,4) Initiates Action -- Takes prompt action to accomplish objectives; takes action to achieve goals beyond what is required; is proactive5) Manages Work -- Effectively manages one's time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently6) Quality Orientation -- Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; shows concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checks processes and tasks; is watchful over a period of timeSalary Expectations· Competitive compensation & benefits packageCandidate must be willing to submit to a background check and meet Federal Drug and Alcohol testing requirements including testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines and phencyclidine.EEO/AA/E-verify employer
