- Writing CMM programs on Zeiss CMM using Calypso software.
- Work with engineering relating to fixture design.
- Writing part inspection plans.
- Measuring First Article Inspections and creating their reports.
- Perform QC inspections using hand gages, Zeiss CMM, profilometer, interferometer, measuring microscope.
- Charting.
- Controlling nonconforming product.
- Strong communication skills needed to promote problem resolution.
- Receiving inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous inspection experience including optical measurements.
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience and proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software a big plus.
- Computer skills a must. A strong working knowledge of excel is required.
- MS Access experience a plus.
- Very good visual acuity a must.
- Leadership skills a plus.
