Job Requisition: REQ2897Employment Type: Per DiemShift: DaysHours Per Week: As scheduledHiring Range : $17.34 - $22.54The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.Responsibilities: • Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN). • Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport. • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. • Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly. Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.Education:• High School diploma/GEDLicensure / Certification / Registration: • Required Credential(s):• Certified Nurse Aide credentialed from the New York Department of Health - Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.• BLS Provider. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
