This is a six week training at Bellhaven Center.
Our classes fill up quickly so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. The interview process for qualified candidates will begin once applications are received. Short-term employment need not apply; we are looking for candidates that will grow with our team. Contractual obligation required.
CNAs are part of a team of health professionals. They act as the eyes and ears of the team. Observing and reporting changes in the residents condition or abilities is a very important role of the Certified Nursing Assistant. They must be dependable, respectful, tolerant, unprejudiced, conscientious, and honest and have good communication skills. Nursing Assistant's perform assigned tasks and assists with all aspects of routine personal care for our residents and patients. Class participants will be in class from 4pm to 8:00 pm Monday-Thursday. The training includes lecture, hands-on skills demo and practice, skill competency exam and written exam.
