*Job description**Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)**Location:* Ossipee, NH, 03864*Shift:* Evening Shift (8 hours per shift, 5 shifts per week, 40 hours per week)*Contract Duration:* 13 weeks*Position Overview:*We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Ossipee, NH. This position will be on a Evening shift schedule, working 8-hour shifts, five days a week, totaling 40 hours per week. The contract duration is for 13 weeks, with the potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.*Key Responsibilities:** Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.* Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the nursing staff.* Help patients with mobility, including transferring from beds to wheelchairs and assisting with walking.* Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.* Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring comfort and well-being.* Assist with patient documentation and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team.* Follow infection control procedures and facility policies.* Ensure that patients' needs are met in a timely and professional manner.*Qualifications:** Active CNA certification in the state of New Hampshire.* Previous experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.* Ability to work well in a team and independently.* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.* Flexibility and availability to work Evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.*Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift and move patients as needed.* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.* Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach as necessary.*Compensation and Benefits:** Competitive hourly rate.* 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.* Health benefits and other perks may be available depending on eligibility.Job Type: ContractPay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekPhysical Setting:* Long term careSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payExperience:* Long term care: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* State Tested Nursing Assistant (Preferred)* CNA (Required)Ability to Relocate:* New Hampshire: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: On the road
