CNA / HHA Transportation Aide

CNA / HHA Transportation Aide Job Responsibilities:
- Review daily rehabilitation schedules and be available, as indicated.
- Provide minimal assistance of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs.
- Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles.
- Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments.
- Operate elevators, as needed.
- Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents/problems.
- Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff.
CNA / HHA Transportation Aide Education and Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of transportation experience is preferred.
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred.
- Must have experience transporting and transferring residents or patients with physical impairments using facility equipment.
- CNA or HHA certification is required.
Salary: Up to $17.00 an hour
