JOB SUMMARY:Provides high quality care to each assigned patient/resident with daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident/patient's assessment and plan of care.BENEFITS:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceEssential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist or complete resident activities of daily living according to the care plan for assigned residents.Activities of Daily Living include, but are not limited to the following:o Bathing (tub, shower, bed)o Dressingo Toileting (bathroom, bedpan, commode, urinal, foley catheter care, incontinent care)o Transferring (in and out of bed, chair, wheelchair, lounge chair, tub, scale, etc)o Transporting (wheelchair, walker, ambulation)o Liftingo Eating (tray pass, feeding, recording consumption, supervision/encouragement, nourishment pass)o Range of Motion exerciseso Grooming (hair, shaving, nail care, oral care)o Bed makingo AM and HS careo Provision of privacyo Restorative Nursing measureso Insure a safe environmentSafely use equipment (lifts, scales, restraints, side rails, splints, positioning devices, arm protectors, specialized mattresses, adaptive equipment)Obtain and record vital signs(temperature, pulse, respiration) and weight.Maintenance of dignity, individuality, confidentiality and resident's rightsExplain to resident what care you are going to provide prior to providing it.Caring for residents with communicable diseases who require isolation or special precautions.
