* POSITION SUMMARY: * Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification. * QUALIFICATIONS: * EDUCATION: * Minimum: * Must be able to read and write English * Preferred: * High school degree or GED * LICENSE: * PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: * Minimum: * Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification. * WORK EXPERIENCE: * Preferred: * Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience * SKILLS: * Minimum: * Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. * Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. * Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. * Salary Range: $18.44-$20.88
