Job descriptionPrimary Duties:
- Follow up with and properly document
- Work with a Licensed or Registered Nurse
- Complete intake process with all clients admitted to 3.7WM and 3.5 LOC.
- Carry out all duties assigned by Director of Nursing in evaluating and implementing plans of care.
- Administer and distribute non-controlled medications.
- Take vital signs, collect urine samples, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
- Complete insurance reviews and ASAMs for pre-certifications for all client continued stays and discharges for 3.7WM clients.
- Perform rounds every 30 minutes and document in charts.
- Observe and record patient symptoms, condition, and/or reactions to medications/treatments and report results to DON.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
- Maintain professional communications and interactions with clinical and support staff members.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience:Certified Nursing Assistant, Certification valid in the State of PennsylvaniaSkills required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and outside referral agencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in the client record.
- Ability to perform functions of CMA in substance abuse setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of time on your feet.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience:
- CNA work: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
