Must be comfortable driving in snow and ice.*Certified Nurse's AideProvides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding residents as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning residents; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering residents' call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the resident to the nursing supervisor.Documents by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.Maintains State and Federal guidelines by following policies and procedures.Protects organization's value by keeping resident information confidential.Enhances the nursing department by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Must be able to lift, transfer, position and push a wheelchair that involves a resident weighing up to 500 pounds, with assistance as needed.Maxi and Sara lifts must be used for transfer of residents who do not bear weight approximately.Functions and responsibilities of position.Functions related to direct care of the resident:Personal hygiene and grooming (special attention to oral hygiene, care of nails, (hands and feet), perineal care.Shave residents, both male and female, dailyProper transfer technique: move residents, lift, position, transfer, push/pull a wheelchair, equipment, etc.I & 0 and bladder training.Range of motion (while giving care or otherwise, as directed).Provide a Safe and comfortable environment.Dress residents in Proper clothing and attire.Offer nourishment and fluids.Answering call signals.Prepare residents for sub-Q's and I.V.'s, when necessary.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insurance Attendance BonusBonus OpportunitiesNot Certified? The facility has evolved from a TB Sanitorium in the 1920 s to a Tri-County Medical Care Facility in 1961.
