Under the ownership of First Atlantic Healthcare, Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation follows in First Atlantic's long standing reputation for excellence in Long CNA-Med Tech Weekend Warrior Hibbard's Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center makes available an every weekend scheduling option to CNA-Ms newly hired in the Nursing department on a limited basis. Employees must make a commitment to enroll in the program for twenty-six (26) consecutive weekends (six months). During this period, the employee will be scheduled to work a minimum of three (3) twelve (12) hour shifts per weekend. For the purpose of defining this program, the weekend begins on Friday at 6:30am and ends on Monday evening at 7:00pm. We are searching for a qualified and self-motivated certified medication tech to join our medical facility. You will perform a variety of patient care duties including administering medication, reporting changes, collecting samples, and recording medication dosages. The ideal CNA-Med Tech will be extremely detail-oriented and possess in-depth knowledge of patient care procedures. Providing excellent patient care is a vital part of this job, which is why excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed. Certified Nursing Assistant Med Tech Responsibilities: * Deliver routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients. * Coordinate with different nurses to assist with patient care and medications. * Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications. * Record medication dosages and times. * Observe patients and document changes in their condition. * Gather samples for analysis. * Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned. * Uphold all health and safety standards. * Respond to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs. CNA Requirements: * High School Graduate or GED * Must be a graduate of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and on the Maine CNA Registry * Able to work scheduled shifts, committing to being there for your team and Residents * Must be able interact our computer-based Electronic Medical Record system * Adhere to State of Maine requirements for vaccinations including Covid-19
