CNA Trainee This is a paid training position to earn your CNA! Once you have shown that you can perform the job duties successfully, you will be transitioned to our CNA Training Program as soon as the next class becomes available. $16.15 hour BENEFITS: * Weekly Paychecks * Paid CNA Training * Referral Bonuses * Peer Mentorship * Generous Paid Time Off JOB DESCRIPTION: A Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding patients or ensuring they take their medication, and assessing their patients' vital signs to notify staff of any changes. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist residents with day-to-day tasks * Work alongside our nurse educator and our nursing staff * Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed * Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds * Preparing each resident's room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and bathroom needs REQUIREMENTS: * High School diploma or equivalent * This is an entry-level opportunity. No prior experience is required due to the training program we would provide * Must be willing to learn and apply new skills * Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable * Strong customer service skills and compassion ABOUT US: Absolut Care is comprised of five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility in New York State, including: Absolut Care of Allegany in Allegany, Absolut Care of Aurora Park in East Aurora, Absolut Care of Gasport in Gasport, Absolut Care of Orchard Brooke in Orchard Park, Absolut Care of Three Rivers in Painted Post and Absolut Care of Westfield in Westfield.
