: Job Details :

Provides resident care, including assisting residents with daily ADL care. Ensures residents ADL needs are addressed per resident requirement and schedule. ADL care includes residents surroundings.Follows residents plans of care and ADL records. Documents care provided.Assists residents with toileting as necessary. Follows policies and procedures regarding incontinent care.Makes regular rounds to all residents and provides necessary care. Answers call lights promptly and courteously and provides necessary care. Documents care provided in residents ADL books. Performs resident rounds at least every two (2) hours.Observes and reports unusual symptoms, changes, incidents and accidents to the Charge Nurse immediately. Monitors and observes residents physical, mental and emotional parameters, and reports any changes to the charge nurse.Follows established cleaning schedules for drawers, closets, supply rooms and clean and dirty utility rooms. Performs additional tasks as assigned by Charge Nurse.Encourages and assists the residents to attend all therapies and programs ordered by the attending physician. May be required to become involved in residents plans of care to include recreational activity participation.Performs other duties as assigned.
