Employment Type:Full timeShift:Rotating ShiftDescription:Position Summary:* The Certified Nurse Aide applies and demonstrates all knowledge and skills learned in the Nurse Aide Training Program and as directed and supervised by the Certified Nurse Aide Instructor.* Assumes specific duties involving direct resident care upon successful demonstration of required skills as taught and supervised by the Instructor in a classroom and clinical setting.* Successfully pass the NYS Certified Nurse Aide Exam composed of both computer based written exam and a clinical skills exam monitored by a registered nurse evaluator.* Demonstrates St. Peter's Health Partners Mission and Core Values.Education Requirements:* Must be able to read, write and speak English; High School Diploma or equivalent life-experience preferred.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.Experience Requirements:* Experience in service delivery in the health care, business or domestic field is preferred.* Must be able to attend the 4 weeks Certified Nurse Aide Training Course.
