Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $27.00

Expected hours: 40 per week, 8-hour shift. Night Shift

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines to perform machining operations according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, stage drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances.

Follow SOPs, RAMs and Health & Safety rules for machining operations.

Load and unload workpieces into the machine using hoists.

Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced according to quality standards.

Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as height stands, mics, calipers, ring gages and gages blocks.

Requirements:

Proficient in operating CNC grinding machine, specifically with experience using Fanuc or OSP.

Minimum 1 year experience of operating Doosan, Okuma or similar grinding machines.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Familiarity with various types of tooling used in CNC machining.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, stage drawings, and job orders.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge and application of precise measuring instruments including but not limited to calipers, micrometers and depth gauges.

Experience using hand tools and other equipment commonly used in machining operations.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, for a length of 8-10-hour shift, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk or hear. Hand and arm dexterity needed to load and unload components and handle inspection equipment.

The employee must occasionally balance, stoop, kneel and crouch.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Able to work a night shift pattern.
