Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. This position's primary focus is on mechanical equipment associated with manufacturing systems and components but could also be applied to an array of plant control systems. Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of OEM machine controllers (FANUC & Siemens)
- Perform mechanical repairs (and rebuild) on all machines.
- Pull and replace machine linear guides and ball screws.
- Support with scheduling PMs, reading reports, diagrams, and drawings.
- Working knowledge of tool probing function for CNC Machines.
- Able to work with complex CNC machine's up to & including 5 Axis.
- Perform machine leveling and alignment on all machines.
- Identify and replace parts as necessary.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
- Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
- Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
- In conjunction with production team, will support continuous improvement of development of PM instructions and schedules to prevent failures.
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Other duties as assigned in Mechanical Maintenance such as HVAC, Chilled Water, pump replacement, etc...
Decision Making and Impact: This position does not officially supervise other employees and has no high-level authority or impact. Relies on experience and judgment to execute duties. Position Requirements: Minimum Education
- High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience
- Ten years' experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the following:
- Mori Seiki Milling machines
- Mori Seiki Lathes & Millturn machines
- Fanuc Robots
Other Requirements
- Must be able to travel for training and development as requested by management
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which include climbing to elevated heights, bending, stopping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 51 pounds
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be able to successfully complete the CENTRUS Qualification Standards and Job Specific Training program
- Currently possess or can obtain and maintaining a DOE Q security clearance
