Making precision parts for the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries.CNC Lathe/Milling Set-Up/Programmer (Aerospace)Our client is seeking a highly-skilled CNC Lathe/Milling Set-Up/Programmer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming and operating CNC Lathe/Milling machines, with a strong mechanical knowledge and background of various equipment and tools.Duties:- Interpret complex prints to program and machine parts from challenging materials on Okuma CNC turning centers- Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize manufacturing processes- Maintain tooling inventory and ensure proper tool selection for each job- Adhere to Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce wasteJob RequirementsRequirements:- 10 years of CNC machining experience*- 5 years of CNC programming experience*- At least 1 year experience with MasterCAM programming software*- Strong knowledge of lathe and mill tooling/inserts- Familiarity with GD&T principles for part inspection- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other various inspection equipment for quality checks- Okuma conversational programming experience*- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices- Previous experience in tooling selection and maintenance- Familiarity of AS9100 standardsAnthony BorbelySynerfac Technical StaffingPhone: 732-###-####...@synerfac.com
