Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced CNC Machinists for an immediate start in Pinellas Park, FL!

PAY: Up to $32 /hour (Based on Experience)
HOURS: 40+
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Temp to Perm
CNC Machinist Job Duties:
- Create and optimize programs for CNC Lathes.
- Sets up and operates CNC Lathes.
- Occasionally operates other Machine Shop equipment.
- Performs quality inspection of parts manufactured.
- Optimize programming strategies to improve quality and increase productivity.
- Assembly of parts manufactured, i.e., bearings.
- Maintains clear record and documentation of programs.
- Performs preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Assist and train other employees.
QUALIFICATIONS OF CNC MACHINIST:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience programming, setting-up and operating a CNC Lathe.
- Ability to set-up, operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
- Deep understanding of turning operations, technical blueprints, and 3D models.
- Proficiency in G-code programming.
- Ability to program in Fusion 360.
- Experience defining and designing holding fixtures and inspection instruments such as go-no go gauge.
- Have knowledge and experience in cutting tool selection and defining optimal cutting conditions.
- Must be proficient in metric system.
- Excellent communications skills and teamwork oriented.
- Initiative-taking and willingness to learn.
- High ethical/quality standards.
- Able to execute tasks in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Microsoft Office Applications – Excel and Outlook.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CNC MACHINIST:
- Ability to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min
- Read Tape Measure
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) unassisted if needed
- Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small openings and climbing hand over hand
- Work performed in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
