CNC Set-Up Machinist Wanted About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Set-Up Machinist to join our Client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to perform precise machining operations on metal workpieces. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring optimal performance of our machining processes.
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm or 11:00am - 7:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
* Set up tooling, fixturing, and CNC machinery for various machining operations
* Operate CNC machines to produce metal workpieces according to specific specifications
* Maintain strict quality and safety standards throughout all processes
* Ensure proper housekeeping in the work area
* Maintain process integrity and consistency
* Monitor and calibrate all measuring equipment used in operations
* Oversee machinery and tools to ensure safe, correct, and optimum performance
* Uphold professional conduct in the workplace at all times
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CNC Set-Up Machinist
* In-depth knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming
* Strong understanding of metalworking processes and techniques
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
* Good problem-solving abilities
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
