- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training in Precision Machining.
- CNC certificate
- Minimum one year of CNC machine operation or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
- Steel toe boots required.
Responsibilities:
- Follow plant safety rules and wear the required PPE.
- Set up machinery and verify work conformance.
- Inspect first-run pieces for specification compliance.
- Use hand tools for finishing and ensure clean work areas.
- Accurately count production pieces.
- Operate various CNC and conventional manufacturing equipment.
- Select and measure materials for production.
- Maintain work area cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.
- Other duties as directed by management.
Skills:
- Proficient with gauges, SPC data collection, hand tools, micrometers, and calipers.
- Understanding of blueprints, G and M code programming.
- Strong hand/eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work various schedules, including nights and weekends.
