Position Description:Shifts Available:2nd Shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd Shift (10pm-6am) Weekly PayOverview:On behalf of our esteemed client, a leader in precision manufacturing, we are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join their dynamic team. Our client values precision, innovation, and professional growth, and offers a supportive and cutting-edge work environment.Key Responsibilities:Machine Operation:Set up and operate a variety of conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders. Additionally, set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC milling centers to meet production requirements.Blueprint Reading:Interpret blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions. Plan the sequence of operations to achieve optimal results.Tool Setup:Select, position, and secure tools in tool holders (chucks, collets, or tool posts) for precise machining.Workpiece Positioning:Position and secure workpieces in holding devices, machine tables, chucks, centers, or fixtures for accurate machining.Machine Control:Adjust machine controls to position tools and workpieces accurately, setting specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.CNC Programming:Edit and update CNC programs, collaborating with programmers and the ME/IE group to drive continuous improvement.Quality Assurance:Monitor machine operations and verify that machined workpieces conform to specifications.
