  • $20 to $32 per hour - based on experience
  • Full Time – 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • 6 Paid Holidays

Fastener Dimensions Inc. (FDI) is a family-owned, high-strength fastener manufacturer, with more than 30 years of experience supplying customers within the Aerospace & Defense industries.

We have been growing at an aggressive pace and are looking to grow our team! Our manufacturing group is currently seeking experienced Machine Setup Operators to join us at our new facility in Pennsauken. The primary responsibilities for this position include: reading & understanding blueprints/specifications; setting up, programming, editing, and operating CNC Lathes; using measuring devices to verify that parts comply with specifications; and troubleshooting production jobs.

Our new state-of-the-art facility, in NJ, enables us to produce some of the most complicated parts found on the market today.

Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience operating a CNC Lathe is required
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings and measure part features using micrometers, calipers, and other basic hand gages
  • Experience working with stainless, carbon steel, titanium, Inconel, and other exotic materials is a plus
  • Experience programming in G-code and M-code
  • Attention to detail, critical thinker, problem-solving skills
  • Adequate math and analytical skills
  • Team player / ability to work well in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance activities as required
