- Understanding Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Operate a variety of manual or CNC machining equipment to produce quality parts that meet design specifications.
- Review blueprints to determine machining process.
- Select tools and materials for job, plan sequence of operations, set up machine and tooling and monitor process to confirm/verify effectiveness.
- Use measuring equipment to verify accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain a clean work environment and participate in scheduled machine maintenance.
- Perform handfinish and assembly operations.
- Assist fellow employees when necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong problem solving/analytical skills.
- Must have basic mechanical knowledge.
- Simple CNC programming knowledge required.
- Must be able to make on-the-fly programming adjustments.
- Must be able to operate a variety of CNC and manual metal working machines.
- Must be able to select tooling, set up machine and safely operate machine.
- Must be able to read and comprehend technical blueprints.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have basic mathematic skills.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position is not responsible for the oversight or performance management of other employees.

- Obey all safety rules, use caution in work activities, and continuously practice safe behaviors.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision.
Work Environment
- Machine shop manufacturing environment. Must wear appropriate safety gear.
Physical Demand
- Moderate physical job demands.
- Must be capable of standing or long periods of time.
- Using hands, fingers, and arms.
- Exposure to noise.
- Must use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Travel
- Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent. 2+ years of on-the-job training/experience.
