Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines.
- Review work order, pull necessary equipment, position work piece and operate various machines through production runs to form specified quantities to defined tolerances.
- Deburr parts as needed.
- Perform in process part inspection and notify Supervisor of non-conformance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally.
- Communicate with managers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
- Document outstanding issues either written or verbally to ensure smooth transition between shift
- Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of Jetstream
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and advise Production Supervisor of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved.
- Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Cross train in other areas to include; Vertical Mills and CNC Lathes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (Monday through Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am)
Requirements
- 3 years setting up and operating CNC Machines, required.
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints/Technical Drawing
- Ability to perform various machining operation in accordance with part specifications.
