Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Archbald, PA 18403
Duration: 12+ months(Possible Extension)
Schedule: 4/10- 1 st Shift
Job Description:
- Tasks range from setting up and operating plain or universal, horizontal, or vertical milling machines to perform machining operations such as compound angles and contours; boring compound angular holes; doing helical and spiral milling; serrating; and gear, spine, and keyway cutting to exacting tolerances.
- May select, mount, and align various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling, plan sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; determine, set, and adjust speeds, feeds, and depth of cut.
- Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations; and measures, marks, and scribes' dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Minimum Requirements: • G and M code knowledge for part program troubleshooting and editing.
• Ability to pre-set tool lengths .
• Proficient at GD&T. (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
• Experience with Mazak and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to perform complex machining calculations.
