We have a 1st shift position available running CNC Mills and Lathes in a clean environment with minimal supervision. First shift hours are 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Responsibilities
- Plans for each day's machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, and materials.
- Will be responsible for completing multiple set-ups daily as our parts are custom made.
- Analyzes information and finds the best solutions to problems.
- Must be able to do multiple setups and edits throughout the day.
- Must be capable of reading and editing G-Code.
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
- Adhering to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
- Continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions in our internal electronic system.
Confers with engineers, production, or assembly problems Job Requirements Minimum Security Clearance: No Clearance Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to operate and program CNC mills or lathe
- Proficient computer and technical skills
- Can read blueprints
