Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our production equipment operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines, including preventative tasks and scheduled inspections.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in CNC machinery.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, gears, and wiring systems.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure machines are operating at optimal efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new CNC machines and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices while performing maintenance tasks.
- Observe all safety and ISO 9001/14001 Requirements.
- Responsible for adhering to the organization's code of conduct, time and attendance and all other company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in maintaining and repairing CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills, routers).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.
