Position: CNC Metal Machine OperatorLocation: Lehigh Valley, PAResponsibilities:* Set up and perform operations on the CNC Lathe, Brake Press, and Turret Punch Press machines to specifications of work orders and drawings/prints.* Read drawings for accurate and safe machine operation.* Operate additional smaller machines in the department as needed.* Utilize measuring devices to ensure operations are run within therequired tolerances.* Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation, proper guarding, and machinesafety.* Must be capable of working to a high level of accuracy and perform inspection of workas operator goes through each step in the process.* Complete work assignments as assigned by Department Supervisor.* Cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe workingenvironment.* Operate degreaser machine as needed.* Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the department to includebut not limited to safety glasses and ear plugs.Job RequirementsQualifications:- Experience with a CNC hydraulic brake press. Experience with metalworks-related lathe or milling machines, press brake, turret punch press, and shear machines is a plus.- Ability to use hand tools; read blueprints; utilize measuring devices and possess strong basic math skills.- Problem-solving skills and high-quality control standards are required to adjust for maintaining proper tolerances.- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a machine operator or completion of vocational technical school training program.- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.- High quality control standards.- Strong math skills are a plus.- Ability to work overtime if needed.
