(Based on experience)Hours: Day and Night ShiftJob type: Temp to HireLocation: Catoosa, OklahomaJob Description:The Powder Coating Painter is responsible for surface preparation, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on metal components.What you'll be doing:* Abrading surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, ensuring a specified finish.* Shoveling or pouring abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot into machine hoppers as required.* Selecting premixed paints or mixing pigment, oil, and thinning/drying substances to match specified colors.* Prepping products before and after painting, including using power spray guns proficiently.Must-Have Qualifications:* 1-year previous Industrial Powder Coating painting experience required, at least 6 months of previous experience.* Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be fitted for and wear a respirator.* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physically active work.Job Order 117296Stand-By Personnel | Skilled DivisionApplication Time: 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
