Description
The CNC Operator is responsible for managing the production rate and quality, making sure the product meets the highest standards of the Company's product line. The job duties herein describe essential functions of the position. Additionally, regular attendance and punctuality are essential to the success of the position. The individual should be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodations.
Essential Functions
* Perform operational functions of CNC machines
* Maintain acceptable reject, scrape rates, and production rates
* Verify part compliance to print or other documentation, Calipers, Micrometers
* Reading of blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required
* Responsible for all paperwork of area of machinery assigned
* Correctly loading and unloading fixturing, Jaws, Chucks, Main Spindle, Sub Spindle, Collets, Pads, Bar feeder inputs
* Maintain a safe work environment and keep work area clean and organized
* Conduct all business activities in accordance with company code of conduct, policies and procedures and all applicable legal requirements.
* Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
* HS/GED
* 1 Years' experience as a CNC operator
* Technical school degree or certificate is a plus
* Available to work overtime as needed.

* Willing to dedicate the time and effort to learn the skills required for position.
* Position is expected to be able to work both independently with a high degree of detail and accuracy
* Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface safely bend, stoop, and reach for 8 to 10 hours a day
* Communicates well both verbally and in writing and shares information and ideas with others
