CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities:* CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision components.* Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate machining and adherence to specifications.* Practical Knowledge: Be familiar with most, if not all the following brands of CNC machines: Haas, Hurco, Matsura, Mazak, and Prototrak.* Software Expertise: Be adept in the use of the following software programs: DraftSight, GibbsCAM and Solidworks.* Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of finished products using various measuring tools to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.* Machine Setup and Calibration: Prepare machines for production runs, including tool selection, installation, and calibration.* Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.* Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to enhance machining processes and improve overall efficiency.Job RequirementsQualifications:* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.* Knowledge of CNC programming and setup.* Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.* Basic understanding of machining processes and materials.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Ability to lift and carry materials weighing at least 30 lbs. A crane can/will be utilized for heavier loads. * Must be able to adhere to all safety rules and regulations as required by BWC policies and any related local, state, and federal laws.
