CNC Programmer/Operator/ Machinist Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm Pay Rate: $35- 40 per hr (based upon experience and aptitude) Location: Doraville, GA 30340 Experience: 5+ years experience as a CNC programmer AND operator comfortable with programming, maintaining and running the machine for custom part production. We are excited to share a new opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Operator/ Machinist located in Doraville, GA! This candidate will be working for a company who makes custom metal pieces for large industrial equipment, as well as refurbishes them! CNC Programmer/Operator/ Machinist : Job Duties include:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and technical models to then run CNC machines to manufacture custom parts
- Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Uses precision tools, machinery and equipment to create custom parts
- Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal, plastics and composites
- Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
CNC Programmer- Requirements may include:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a CNC programmer AND operator programming and running machinery to produce parts
- Competent in understanding and programming g+m code
- Can operate Fanuc controls to operate a CNC machine
- Mazak or MasterCAM experience
- Has experience with conversational programming
- Should have experience running CNC Milling machinery, lathe experience not necessary if milling experience is there but preferred.
- Comfortable operating large mills and lathes and handling large part fabrication( experience preferred)
- Track parts and jobs into the vantage system.
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
