CNC Swiss Lathe Operator and Set Up

This company is looking for a 2nd & 3rd shift experienced Orthopedic CNC Swiss Lathe operator AND setup. Good with attention to detail, hand tools, and math skills.

**You will be training on 1st shift for the 1st week only. 1st shift hours are 6 AM- 2:30 PM. **

CNC Swiss Lathe Operator and Set Up Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $23.00 to $24.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 02:15pm to 10:15pm)

• Study drawings: Analyze product drawings to determine how to program the machine to cut the parts.
• Set up the machine: Set up the machine according to blueprint specifications.
• Select tools: Choose and align cutting tools, holding fixtures, attachments, and accessories.
• Operate the machine: Use the machine to pierce, cut, and drill raw materials.
• Inspect parts: Measure and inspect the parts.
• Complete paperwork: Complete any accompanying paperwork.
• Maintain quality: Maintain quality and safety standards.

CNC Swiss Lathe Operator and Set Up Qualifications:

• Uses blueprints and other measuring devices to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing manufacturing effectiveness. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Recent orthopedic experience in Swiss Lathe with in depth setups.

No Diploma required.
