Position Title: CNC Tool Room TechnicianWage: $22-$25/hourShift: 2ndHours: 2:30pm-11pmQPS Employment Group is hiring a 2nd shift Tool Room Machinist at a company in Oconomowoc, WI. Apply now!CNC Tool Room Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Organize tools and equipment on shelves and racks for easy access- Keep track of inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed- Inspect and maintain tools to ensure they are in good working condition- Perform repairs or arrange for professional repairs when necessary- Distribute tools to production teams based on their needs- Track tool usage and ensure timely returns- Work closely with engineering teams to assess manufacturing feasibility- Troubleshoot and improve process efficiency- Operate milling machines and lathes for minor tool modificationsCNC Tool Room Technician Requirements:- Trade or Technical degree or equivalent- Working knowledge of mold components- Basic knowledge of types of steels used in molds- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints- Proficient in math, including a basic knowledge of trigonometry- Experience with Toolroom machinesQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
