Oak Hall has a long history of success in Lacrosse, and we now have a need for a coach who desires to build upon our tradition of success and work with young players to help them develop their skills and grow as both lacrosse players and student athletes.Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Head Lacrosse Coach will contribute to and support all aspects of building, growing and maintaining a competitive varsity girls lacrosse program, by promoting a positive team environment that ensures high levels of growth and learning for all athletes. As an active and collaborative member of the Athletic Department, and the greater Oak Hall community, this Coach will serve as a mentor for their athletes, and model outstanding sportsmanship and respect for opposing competitors and teams.QualificationsQualifications and Characteristics:Significant athletic and competitive experience in lacrosse and experience coaching high school level lacrosse, is preferred. In addition to having a strong base of knowledge and passion for lacrosse, and for the student-athlete experience, the ideal candidate will also possess an understanding of the social/emotional needs of high school-aged athletes and be fluent in different ways to communicate with and motivate athletes of varying skill levels and abilities. As an ambassador for Oak Hall, the Lacrosse coach will highly value the importance of professionalism and collegiality in all aspects of their communications and interactions with constituents in the school community.Oak Hall School is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment.
