Why do we need you ?The coating operator is required to perform all functions on the industrial machines from setups, material loading/off-loading and cleaning. Their main responsibility is to operate coating equipment to achieve specific functionalities and properties as detailed in work order instructions. This position is one that may require independent work as well as working directly with others on the same machine. It requires a high attention to details, ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast pace environment. Operates processing equipment, including: - operating roll-to-roll coating equipment together with another technician - mixing coating formulations - stringing webs and products through a line - cleaning equipment * Maintenance of equipment, general lab safety, and lab organization * Collect data and measure product quality * Other duties as assigned by supervisor, including ordering raw materials and participating in meetings and trainings Hours: 2nd shift - 3pm to 11pm Pay: $24.00/hr plus shift differentialIs this job for you ?* High School diploma or GED (demonstrated equivalent) with 1-10 years of relevant experience * Working with machinery, familiarity with data collection, and experience handling chemicals desired. * Experience mixing powders, slurries, and/or waterborne coatings is a plus. * Experience running coating processes is a plus.
