  • Operate coating pans and monitor various parameters such as inlet/outlet temperatures, airflow, mist checker flow meters, and more.
  • Prepare coating solutions (clear or color) and load tablet boxes through the frontal porthole.
  • Operate aqueous coating machines and maintain attention to process variables, gauges, meters, control knobs, and valves.
  • Coordinate testing of disintegration time and appearance results with Quality Control to ensure customer specifications are achieved.
  • Add, calibrate, set up, and pass coated tablets through a metal detector into a clean, plastic-lined container.
  • Ensure batch record sign-offs with Quality Control and address any violations of cGMPs.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
About You:Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Proficient in basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Familiarity with the metric system.
  • Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form and handle problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Experience with forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, digital scales, and wearing a dust respirator is preferred.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/Certificate; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
