Join the MasTec family and help us provide the highest level of quality service to our customers and communities while maintaining our commitment to safety!ResponsibilitiesAs a Coax Splicer, you will be a part of a team of construction professionals who produce high-quality work while using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more to make a difference. You will upgrade the existing plant, plant extensions, and new building construction. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.Pay Range: $25-$30 per hourIn addition, you will:Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cableOptimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacityUtilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers)Read CATV telecommunication design and printsWork in outdoor utility construction sitesQualificationsAbout You:You have a working knowledge of the insurance industryYou have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom softwareYou have excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skillsYou enjoy working in a fast-paced high volume work environmentYou have positive people skills and a pleasant demeanorMOS Code 88N relates well to this position.BenefitsHard work pays off.
