The ideal candidate will possess a thorough command of mainframe development and a profound familiarity with benefit eligibility coding, specifically transaction type 2721. In this capacity, you will be welcomed into a collaborative team focused on bolstering healthcare networks and facilitating seamless interoperability. Noteworthy to this role is the provision of mentorship and astute business guidance as you assimilate into the intricacies of applications, business workflows, and vendor engagements. Your primary responsibility will encompass safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of both application systems and the data they handle. Your daily responsibilities will encompass code composition for straightforward system designs, the enhancement of pre-existing programs, the drafting of basic technical specifications for individual programs, and close collaboration with fellow Developers within this Mainframe environment. Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of five years' demonstrable experience in Mainframe Development.
- Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
- A robust background in real-time EDI processes.
- Profound comprehension of healthcare transaction processing, coupled with an adept understanding of transaction codes.
- Prior exposure to payer environments would be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication aptitude.
- A Bachelor's degree is obligatory.
